Lowongan kerja Production Manager PT. Silcane
PT. Silcane Indonesia is looking for a Production Manager for the furniture factory located in Cirebon, Indonesia. Cirebon is a port city located on the Northern coast of West Java, approximately 300 km from Jakarta. The population is around 2 mio. people.
PT. Silcane is producing high quality furniture in steel and rattan for two Danish design furniture companies and partly owners, Sika-Design and Cane-line. The factory has a local partner, who is working in the factory on a daily basis.
The Production Manager will be responsible for the daily operations such as:
- Securing effective warehousing and developing warehouse operation
- Production development process
- Purchase of raw materials and planning of production
- Securing quality and handling logistics
We are looking for a candidate with experience in working in Asia or even Indonesia. Probably you already live in Indonesia. The factory has already heavily expanded over the past years, and will grow very fast the coming years. There are many very good local employees in the factory. In house around 300, and outside around 5-600. They are doing a great job, but they need guidance and management. The Production Manager will be reporting directly to director of PT. Silcane and the Production Management at the Danish partner.
Profile
We are looking for a Manager with good experience in Indonesia, and perhaps speaking Bahasa Indonesia or Malaysian. You are probably from a European country, communicating fluently in English and have strong experience from similar position (minimum 5 – 10 years). You are structured and trustful, and you value close co-operation and teamwork. Through previous experience with management you have obtained good skills within human resources and awareness of how to work in an organization with cultural differences. You manage to keep up a good mood and atmosphere, even when you are busy with multiple tasks. You thrive on solving your tasks in an entrepreneurial environment, where no days look the same, and where you have the opportunity to make a big difference. It is an advantage if you have experience with ISO14001, environmental management systems and SMETA social audit as well as LEAN manufacturing.
